Does anyone know what the story is behind the Manor Music Mansion? They were robbed a few months back as reported by the paper. Soon after that it looked like they went through and cut down or cut back every tree on the property. Now this week there have been a bunch of earth moving machines and dump trucks in and out. I drive that way everyday for work and was just wondering if anyone knew what was up. It looks like no one is living there. Did the businesss move? I had visited there a few times over the years, but not recently.

I remember seeing a "Going out of business sale" ad for them a few months ago.They were selling everything in the store.I think they shut down after that.I bought a bass and amp there in the early 80`s.They were good to deal with back then.

Oh ok, i missed the going out of business sale then. Never saw any signs from the road. It just didn't look like they had the place up for sale or anything and then started tearing all kinds of stuff up. Just wondering what the deal was, they were a pretty sucessful business for a long time.

I believe the owner has since retired from the business.

Regarding the robbery, there are one or more suspects waiting for a court hearing. Hope they throw the book at them.

Dale and Trey left the retail business and have a studio in Dale's home near the corner of Butter and Valley Road in Manheim Township. Dale sold the Manor property to the church next door. They are still available to setup guitars, provide lessons, etc., but do not sell retail.

Trey lists on Craiglist pretty regularly if you're looking for lessons, and he is coming out with a new CD.
