I thought of you and Lisa when I read the recipe.

Edited to add: I used to be able to buy some disposable latex gloves by Mr. Clean that you could actually use for food prep, but now I can't find them anywhere. The only ones I can find at Walmart or the supermarkets do not include being safe for food handling. Does anyone know where I can get the latex gloves that we can use for food? Thanks!

To go completely off the healthy wagon, you can do the same filling, (or just plain cream cheese and garlic) and wrap the pepper with 1/3 strip of your favorite type of bacon (or turkey bacon) toothpick it, and bake.
YUM.

I didn't even think of checking with a restaurant supply store -- thanks, BigMac! I know of two in Berks County, so I'll probably check them when the kids go back to school. If I strike out, I'll probably use the website.



Oh, and Killjoie, you are no Kill joy! I love the bacon idea.

I fervently believe that bacon makes everything better. (And yes, I have even tried bacon ice cream.)
