I don't know what it's like now, but 15-20 years ago the same employees who claimed to be "hard working, company men" were the laziest group I have ever seen in my life. People meeting their quota in two hours, pulling up sleeping bags and sleeping on catwalks the rest of the night. I know that has union written all over it, but...

I had to get out of there. My mind was exploding at the complete disregard for motivation, self respect and a hard day's work, and I was bored being allowed to do nothing after I was done with my "quota".

I am glad I found a job in my career, post college. I'd have not been able to survive a full career working at a place with people so "company minded".
