The sheriff office would save for it's customers hundreds of thousands of dollars a year by using the web and abriviated sheriff sale notices. One sheriff sale notice cost over twelve thousand dollars last year. The office now has a web site that has the sheriff sales listed on line, but we still have to advertise in the paper one day a week for three consecutive weeks before the sale. Silly at the least and a waste of money at the most.
