Great but do me a favor, skip 10,000 square feet of new space and open a checkout lane. I was in that store this morning. There was 1 "manned lane" open. There was 1 colossal idiot overseeing the "let's ave lots of staff dollars with super-slow and arduous self-checkout lane" area. I am college educated, tech-savy person and it should not take 10 minutes to ring out. Bring back somoe staff and burn the self check-out lanes or streamline them so that they move.

You are permitted to turn there and there is ample space to turn.

No you aren't. It's a double yellow line which when I learned how to drive meant do not cross. Drive up a few feet to the turn lane and turn there.
