1 - 2 pound lean ground beef (or turkey)
29oz can whole tomato
29oz can diced tomato w/garlic
1 cup mild salsa
1 medium onion
1 green pepper
chili powder to taste
salt, pepper
2 cans dark red kidney beans
shredded cheddar cheese
Brown beef/turkey and drain fat. Add tomatoes, onion and green pepper, chili powder, salt and pepper.
Simmer 45 minutes adding the kidney beans 15 minutes after the simmer starts.
Serve and top with cheddar cheese.
