Let's see. He's an editor with LNP, pays a mortage on their home in Manheim Township. I'd say the Bush years have been quite prosperous for this little brat.

No, but there are already 300 million losers regardless of the outcome... can we turn back the clock and redo the primaries?

How about Clinton/Obama vs. Powell/Ridge?
Please?

Gil.... Honey..... I'm concerned for you..... What are you going to do now that the campaign frenzy is over ? Tomorrow is a new day, and I'm just not sure what we will all do without your witty remarks. I hate to put it out there, beacuse I know how sensitive you are, but maybe it's time for you to get a real job.

do obama fans even know who truly is? perhaps not, beginning with this:

Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs.. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro). From....and for more....go to.....

some of Obama's Not Exactly's:

1.) Selma ALABAMA Got Me Born - NOT EXACTLY, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965. (Google'Obama Selma' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths.)

2.) Father Was A Goat Herder - NOT EXACTLY, he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the Kenyan Government.

3.) Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter - NOT EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments Kenya has ever had.

4.) My Family Has Strong Ties To African Freedom - NOT EXACTLY, your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya. It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Oba ma, is Odinga's follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. Check out the following link for verification of that....and for more.

Obama's cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia Muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians' homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter. Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth.

please at least google of some of these points and try to not click on the obama based factcheck.org, choose a couple sites to compare.

Obama's Not Exactly's:

9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language.

10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia, I Have More Foreign Experience - NOT EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn't even speak the language. What did you learn, how to study the Koran and watch cartoons.

11.) I Am Stronger On Foreign Affairs - NOT EXACTLY, except for Africa (surprise) and the Middle East (bigger surprise), you have never been anywhere else on the planet and thus have NO experience with our closest allies.

12.) I Blame My Early Drug Use On Ethnic Confusion - NOT EXACTLY, you were quite content in high school to be Barry Obama, no mention of Kenya and no mention of struggle to identify - your classmates said you were just fine.

13.)An Ebony Article Moved Me To Run For Office - NOT EXACTLY, Ebony has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist.

14.) A Life Magazine Article Changed My Outlook On Life - NOT EXACTLY, Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn't, and never did, exist.

15.) I Won't Run On A National Ticket In '08 - NOT EXACTLY, here you are, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough experience by then, and you are all about having experience first.

Machiavelli, that is one of the most moronic posts I have ever seen. I am by no means a fan of Sen. Obama but the 'reasons' for not voting for him by your claims are just ridiculous. You are why I hate politics.

My reasons for not supporting him have nothing to do with his race or heritage but his political stances. It is a shame that anyone would propose voting against him for the reasons you mentioned.

Thank you Machiavelli for your post. I have seen some of this information before, but much of it has never been 'HEARD'. If you don't mind, I'd like to copy it for future reference, just in case people forget the impact of the 'too good to be true' decisions they've made. May this be a learning experience for us all. And Citizen, OB already has fallen into the same trap of 'mindless arrogance'. You just haven't had your eyes open to it. But you will.

sorry if my haste made it sound as though that was a reason.
i've stated my reasons here on several other occasions:
some of my issues have been with:
there is no way he can give everyone the same health insurance that the senators have.
there is no way he can just plain old end the war in iraq.
there is no way he can spread the wealth without raising taxes, and his base line for where to draw the tax line has already begun to lower.
he appears to have been associated with Ayers for 20 years, not just at the age of 8 as he has said.
i wanted to like him, but as i read about him, beginning with the two books that he wrote, he faded into smoke and mirrors.
i'm not comfortable with the no answer, no information regarding: how did he travel the world as a college student, how did he afford a million dollar home and how did he travel to pakistan on an indonesian passport during a time when pakistan did not permit US citizens to travel?
again, my apologies to you and the other readers if i have made the Arab/Black statement seem to be a reason. thank you for pointing it out and appreciate your attitiude in doing so. a refreshing change from the more brutal emotions usually found here at talkback.

i tossed around the idea of moving to canada, but three things keep me here:
-canada's cold
-i want the same health coverage that the senators have, obama said we'd have it. but what do i do about the coverage i do have? it was just open enrollment and we had to sign up, just in case obama lost and wasn't able to provide us all with the same health benefits the senators receive. will we have to keep the current one through 2009, then get the in on the senate health plan beginning with 2010?
-i have plenty of i told you so's to hand out when the big o's presto chango gets revealed.

It's really amazing to see people not "getting" the meaning of Obama's win tonight. This is a truly amazing, defining moment in America's history, and it seems, sadly, that quibbling over whose taxes will go up has eclipsed the magnitude of Obama's election for many of the people contributing here. And that people are actually still peddling that he's an Arab or a Muslim is just sickening. He's neither, and the fact that people feel comfortable spewing the "He ain't white, and he got a funny name" point of view (very thinly veiled with just slightly better grammar) is really sad. Anyone who keeps mentioning his middle name or with whose name his name rhymes are either of low intelligence or they're racists -- or both.

Just accept it -- despite what you've been told, he's not going to raise your taxes unless you have more than $250,000 in taxable income. How many of you will that even apply to? He's in favor of Socialism? Hardly. We already have tax brackets, with higher-income people paying more, so the concept of "spreading the wealth" is not new. He's not going to take your guns. He goes to church. He loves his wife and kids. He went to Harvard and didn't graduate to go run a corporation or become some zillionaire CEO -- he went to work in city neighborhoods to make a difference. How many of us can say that our life's work has been about helping people? He loves this country -- and his election means that we can truly tell our kids that ANYONE can grow up and become president. Until now, that was really only true for little white boys, and look at the mess the latest little white boy and his pals have made!

Tonight we've turned an important, positive page in this country, and anyone who doesn't see and appreciate that has to look deep inside themselves and ask why -- and what they're really afraid of.

Ahh, what if he turns out to be a great president? Then I'm sure you'll be a BIG man and admit it, right? Hahahaha.
Here's a clue...stop listening to the Rush Limbaugh types and think for yourself. I know its easier to sit around with the other racists and complain. But, "Joe the Plumber" is not the face of America anymore. Your buddy Bush shipped most of our jobs overseas and stole our money and gave it to the wallstreet types and big oil, now you're going to have to play by a different set of rules, and guess what? Its never going to go back to the utopia you imagine with all white boys. Take a look at any college campus, the darker skin races outnumber the white ones. These are the new leaders coming up and if you have a problem with that, then maybe you do need to leave. Its seriously a shame how many racists there still are. What are you going to do when 2010 rolls around and the whites become a minority? For what its worth, I am white, and people like you are an embarressment.

Not sure what your business is, but regardless of how hard your dad or the rest of your family worked, there's a good chance your business would be nothing without customers like the rest of us. If we can't afford to visit your business and spend what little money we make on your goods/services/etc - it really won't matter how hard you work. I'm not saying. I also work hard as does my husband, and I wouldn't consider us "poor" but we're also far from "well off"... but if things don't start to change, we won't be able to spread our income around because very little of it will be considered disposable. I loose, you loose, we all loose. Regardless of your personal thoughts, feelings, beliefs - we are all connected and we need to start realizing that!

I am absolutely ecstatic Obama is president elect. No one will kill that joy for me. The haters will always hate. They will never see any good in someone who represented who they voted 'against'.

To illustrate, however, how a republican might feel today.......just imagine, if you will...how many democrats and people who voted for Kerry and so forth have felt the last 8 yrs. We bit the bullet and accepted President Bush as president. Now the shoe is on the other foot....

Now, off to watch THE VIEW soon. That show ought to be *interesting* today.

(Google'Obama Selma' for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths.) 2.) Father Was A Goat Herder - NOT EXACTLY, he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the Kenyan Government. No one wants to know the truth. http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message558009/pg1 please at least google of some of these points and try to not click on the obama based factcheck.org, choose a couple sites to compare. Obama's Not Exactly's: 9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language. 15.) I Won't Run On A National Ticket In '08 - NOT EXACTLY, here you are, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough experience by then, and you are all about having experience first. http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message558009/pg1
Do you really think anybody cares about this BS. Anybody?

YES..COULDN'T OF SAID IT BETTER MYSELF.

LOL......I wish I could watch it, but Im stuck at work.

So now what are you Repubs gonna talk about? Any of you plan on moving to Canada or Mexico maybe?

You know what, I've never heard a republican make a "moving out of the country" because of an election, yet I hear it often from the dems.

Conservatives love this country too much to abandon it, even when it turns on us.

Actually, I do know a family who claimed they'd be moving if Obama won. It's OK, though, I don't think anyone will miss them, not that any other country would have them anyway. smile.gif

You know . . this has been an incredibly long election. Sitting here reading over these posts (some good, some just plain hateful). I am very proud to have stood in line and voted for Barack Obama.

The other thing I'm proud of is the fact that my children really didn't even see a black man running, they just saw a better man for the job. Not to miss the historical aspect of how far this country has come, but I love the fact that my kids are growing up with a different perspective than I could.

I am thrilled!

I don't know about anyone else but I work hard for my money and so do my parents. Yea we are very well off and I want to keep it that way. I don't want my money going to some lazy !profanity! with no job, my dad worked hard to build up his business.

Do some research and think.
If you're complaining about paying taxes, think.
We all pay taxes--all of us.

You're no better than anyone else.

If they said it and meant it, they should be forced to leave.
