Does Becky get a free t-sirt for suggesting the logo?? unsure.gif

I actually just learned about CafePress. Thought about actually doing a shirt for sale but did not think it would sell. That, and I am supposed to be a businessperson. Hey, wait a minute. I'm not a businessperson, I'm a ballplayer! So, shaddup! laugh.gif

Kate, I guess it would only be fair.

While I really like the idea of using a picture of the Wizard of Oz (from the original movie, of course), the dog picture BuffaloBill posted is priceless. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I think you should send Becky at least 7 t-shirts -- one for every day of the week. This way, she could keep you close to her heart. wink.gif laugh.gif

Daisy Lee Myers
IF I HAD A PASSION FOR THE LOL boss i could design "A SPOOF" and sell the tees (50/50 blend) for $2.00.

however, you can "sucker the public" for $15.00 a tee
with your generic design by YOU.

good luck!

Ok, according to Talkback help:

QUOTE
If the admin has enabled it, you will also see a file attachments option, this will allow you to attach a file to be uploaded when making a post. Click the browse button to select a file from your computer to be uploaded. If you upload an image file, it may be shown in the content of the post, all other file types will be linked to.

So why can't I attach a file? Is this based on limits imposed on the post?

Try typing some text first, and then attach your file on the next line.

I'm using firefox, it worked for me.
Yeah, he is creepy looking. The link I put in above takes some of the fun out of it, you can only put the right arm in the right socket, mouth in the mouth, etc.
I really like my Mr. Franken Tato Head.

Daisy,

I am not making or selling these t-shirts. I did use cafepress to generate the image but have no plan on selling them....as if they would sell.

Also, there may copyright issues. If I decide to get into the t-shirt business I will probably go with "LOL Boss, Super-Doppler Jerk 8.1".

Something is wrong with this thread. When I go to other threads and post I have the Attach File button, but not in this one. sad.gif

I envision the start of a fan club, and with effective marketing we could sell just about anything. Of course you would need to be available for appearances and autograph signings and other public relation gigs. I think we should set up a stand for the July 4th hooplah and we can even have the street vendors peddle some wares with a small cut.

Scientists Ponder Invisibility Cloak

By ANDREW BRIDGES, Associated Press Writer
document.write(getElapsed("20060525T180945Z"));3 hours agoUPDATED 2 HOURS 25 MINUTES AGO

WASHINGTON - Imagine an invisibility cloak that works just like the one Harry Potter inherited from his father.

Researchers in England and the United States think they know how to do that. They are laying out the blueprint and calling for help in developing the exotic materials needed to build a cloak.

The keys are special manmade materials, unlike any in nature or the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. These materials are intended to steer light and other forms of electromagnetic radiation around an object, rendering it as invisible as something tucked into a hole in space.

"Is it science fiction? Well, it's theory and that already is not science fiction. It's theoretically possible to do all these Harry Potter things, but what's standing in the way is our engineering capabilities," said John Pendry, a physicist at the Imperial College London.

Details of the study, which Pendry co-wrote, appear in Thursday's online edition of the journal Science.

Scientists not involved in the work said it presents a solid case for making invisibility an attainable goal.

Finally I can post a picture. I noticed that I did not need to type something in the text area before the File Attachments frame came up.

LOL Boss, what you said wasn't correct.

What did I say that was not correct?

Andy, now you've done it, be prepared to incur the wrath of the LOL Boss.

ps. I think Andy was refering to Mauer's suggestion of typing text to acquire the attach file ability, out of confusion.

Sorry, I got you and Maurer confused. He said try typing some text first.

When I opened up a reply today, the third frame was enabled, and I had the attachment options, which I have used before. When I was having the problem yesterday, I couldn't get the attachment frame in this post, but could in a couple others.

Maybe you guys know what's going on, but this seems to be a setting or limit imposed in the software.

So sorry for confusing the two of you. bow.gif rolleyes.gif

I have no idea, the frame was not visible for attachments.

Is this code written in a version of Visual Studio?

Thanks

There is a limit per image and a lifetime limit. The limit per image is 100k. The software that runs TalkBack is from Invision Power Board. I do not know what it is written in.

I understand the limit per image, but the problem I was experiencing was not related to that. I just simply didn't get the attachment frame. Previously it didn't work on this post, but did on others. Then today it was good to go. unsure.gif

I did a little research and it seems that software is written in PHP. I am not familiar with that other than it is a scripting language.

Thank you for the information. smile.gif

You are correct. PHP is a server-side scripting language with syntax almost exactly like C and C++.
