So daughter #1 got home from school today and asked if there was anything in the newspaper about McCaskey being vandalized. I guess someone or someones spray painted Penn Manor rules, is # 1, etc., on all the doors except the gym door, and various trash cans over the weekend, after the McCaskey-Penn Manor basketball game. Since the graduating class of 05 was front page news for spraypainting the school, I thought for SURE there would be some news coverage of this incident.
Or was it in the paper and I missed it?

But was the paint water soluable? Therein lies the real issue.

I am sure there would have been a great big picture of McCaskey and some very colorful students had this been the other way around.

SHAME ON LNP AND THEIR BIAS REPORTING OR LACK THEREOF.

There is an article about this on B-1 in today's Intel. Apparently the paint was washed off but Penn Manor is going to make anyone caught pay for the cleaning.

We won't hold our breath, trust me. They are not investigating the incident. They are "hoping" those responsible will step forward. PM officials did not announce any consequence if somone did not take responsibility although from reading the article in both papers they seem to think it was the PM Seniors.

They trespassed and vandalized the building. PM should reimburse SDOL for the cost of the custodial staff time spent to clean off the paint. PM should make their senior class come over and do some act of kindness or other for their actions, maybe then someone will speak up and say who was responsible.

It just amazes me how there were no BIG picturesof PM or their students accompanying the article as is the usual way LNP reports incidents involving SDOL, McCaskey or incidents in the neighborhood.

How would PM react if our students spraypainted (of course with washable paint) their cars or buildings with red tornados? Hmmm dry.gif

Another item worthy of mention. Several Penn Manor students were assaulted after the game by McCaskey students. This did not make the paper either.

That is correct. It's my understanding that the recent boys basketball game between Penn Manor and McCaskey was a very hostile enviroment. Evidently the student section for Penn Manor was verbally harassing the McCaskey team and fans with insulting jokes. ie. Yelling obscenities regarding poor SAT scores and the fact that they had beaten McCaskey in football earlier in the year! After the game a couple of McCaskey kids assaulted a few Penn Manor students sending a foreign exchange student to hospital. For revenge, the Penn Manor students vandalized the McCaskey building.
Hammer
Did they ever catch the McCaskey kids that painted up Manor after a victory there last year?

What was the final score of the game?
