Michelle contradicts Obama nativity story
Divulges Ann Dunham was 'very young and very single' at birth of U.S. president

In little noticed remarks, Michelle Obama stated at a public event that her husband's mother, Ann Dunham, was "very young and very single" when she gave birth to the future U.S. president.

Her comments further undermine the official story as told by Barack Obama – that Dunham was married to his father, Barack Obama Sr., at the time of birth.

The remarks were made by Michelle Obama during a July 2008 round table at the University of Missouri. Obama was responding to criticism of her husband's presidential campaign speeches about fatherhood and faith-based initiatives.

Michelle Obama explained her husband understands the struggles of low-income families.

"He understands them because he was raised by strong women. He is the product of two great women in his life. His mother and his grandmother," she said.

"Barack saw his mother, who was very young and very single when she had him, and he saw her work hard to complete her education and try to raise he and his sister," Michelle Obama said.

Her remarks about Dunham being "very single" when she gave birth to Barack Obama were also quoted last year on a blog posted at MSNBC.com. The remarks, however, contradicted previous claims President Obama about the circumstances of his birth.

Can you imagine if we found proof that Jesus was born in Africa. Judging from the reaction to all the speculation about Obama I think its safe to say that people's heads would explode.

I will not spend much time researching this, but what I know and care about is that Obama's father left when the president was very young to return to Kenya. If I recall correctly, he had a prior marriage in Kenya as well. It's very likely that his father returned to Kenya out of a sense of social responsibility. He and his son met once very briefly when the president was 6. The father died when the president was in his early twenties.

What matters is that Obama has never condoned this behavior and that he has nothing but admiration for his wife's family who were much more conventional. I imagine where you are going with this is that this is yet another great secret that is being concealed. There is no secret about the fact that Barack Obama, Jr. wishes he had a different type of father and tries to be a different type of father than the one he had.

And we all know just how reliable the WND is when it comes to conspiracy theories. Let's see just how many doctored birth certificates they can cough up before the end of his term.

And The Constitution never said the President had to be a legitimate birth. Only that they were Native born.

Mother was too young to confer citizenship, by the stipulations in place at the time.

I am not an Obama fan. However, I am very tired of the inuendo and slamming of the POTUS. If, indeed, Obama was of bastard birth, more power to him and the women who raised him. This is more proof that anyone can become president if there they are brought up to believe in the power of a dream [and have financial backing from power mongers].

So let me get this right.

Anybody born a bastard in America is not an American.

Anyone born in Kenya, of a single Mother too young to confer American citizenship, would become a citizen of the Crown, just like his Father.

I'm not going to do this, I'll leave it to the book writers who'll eventually get paid to "disclose" all this stuff between two covers.

My Son is a stepson, so I try not to even use that word, thank-you.

Perhaps Michelle Obama was just making statements to fit the situation for that moment and time. I highly doubt if truthfulness is a priority for either of the Obama's.

I think it is pretty obvious that the context of her statement was that she raised Obama as a single mother. There are many married women out there having kids that are considered "single moms", because the husband takes off just before or soon after the child is born. Irregardless, the statment has nothing to do with the validity of Obama's citizenship.
