Can I be the first to say that is band isn't country and I would really appreciate it if WIOV would start playing country again. If i wanted to listen to this, I'd turn on FM97. I want country, not this alternative-pop stuff they keep trying to pass off as country.

Country, like Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers is gone. Country & Western is really gone (The era of Hank Williams Sr. and Conway Twitty).
George Straight and Tim McGraw are about as close to old school country as you're gonna find. George Straight is only still being played because he's been willing to change with the genre.
Trailer Choir is a hit in my book. Sure, it's not Country that used to be, I probably wouldn't listen to it much if it were.
OTOH, I do enjoy the occasional time I tune into WIOV on Saturday nights after 6:00 when they play everything pre-90s. You might want to listen in then.
BOB, WGTY and that other one I can't think of play the same stuff.
