Melody McFarland spent two years living in Yokosuka, Japan with her husband Gene, a Navy Physician. A biology research scientist by training, Melody focused her keen eye on many little-known flora and fauna of the Tokyo Bay region, producing breath-taking images of the microcosms of the East.
Artist receptions on October First Friday and Fall ArtWalk (October 17-18) will feature traditional Japanese appetizers and music, along with opportunities to discuss art, nature and biology with the artist.
