When you Have complete government control over your life this is exactly what you will have. A subversive government that will wield its political might to CRUSH dissent and use any means nessisary.

Actually, that does make more sense. When, exactly, did this bloat begin? When did the deficit start to really take off? Hint: It wasn't in January of this year.

But really what can you expect from a national health care plan?

There are several ways to achieve this goal.
A Social Security type administration, highly regulated private insurance companies operating on a national level, and a public private hybrid.

There has not been a single healthcare proposal that comes anywhere close to being similar to the healthcare system in China. Furthermore, China putting dissidents in mental hospitals has nothing to do with any healthcare program. It is more related to China's blatent lack of respect for civil rights and due process.

It started before FDR. It was just after the turn of the last century.

You are right it is a lack of civil rights. When our government forces us to take a health care plan designed by them or their cronies or pay a fine, isn’t that violating the civil rights of those that do not want to use their system?
It is interesting though the Chinese government is LEVERAGING their health care system to force people into compliance with the government’s point of view. Since those people are obviously mentally ill who should have to listen to them?
I do realize the title I chose with that video is a little inflammatory and a better title could have been chosen but once they ram whatever they design up our backsides this could happen to discredit dissent on either side (left or right) by whoever is in charge.

My point exactly. The deficit waxes and wanes. Lately it's been waxing a lot. No single administration is responsible for this disaster.

Good. You go back to living in the 20th century. The rest of us will progress quite nicely without you.

The point is it's time to stop the insanity. Stop the government bloat, the over taxation and the nanny state.
You are welcome to relive history. I would rather not.

Now back to debating that drivel you're convinced is a deep understanding of President Obama's healthcare reform.
The head of the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, Douglas Elmendorf, told senators Tuesday that seniors in Medicare's managed care plans would see reduced benefits under a bill in the Finance Committee.

Gosh China doesn't sound like the kind of country any self respecting wingnut would want to do business with. Maybe that's the next thing they will riot over?
