The "hit" downtown was underwhelming, to say the least, but it did bring the temp down a bit. Buddy of mine above Manheim said they got hammered hard.

Any other regional reports from the "TB'er on the street" ?

Nasty storms in my neck of the woods. I was disappointed, because I was going to the concert tonight at Long's Park, but the weather nixed the plans. I was really looking forward to it; rats.

Not too bad here in Lititz. Got a fair bit of rain. Also had a brown out....very thankful I didn't lose power! Otherwise, a bit uneventful.

I'm not that far from citydweller. The storm hit hard and fast, and moved out very quickly.

WGAL said it was moving at over 50 miles an hour!

Pretty nasty out here in E. Lampeter Township for awhile

Electricity/traffic lights out on Route 23 around Leola - lots of rain, wind and at times some spectacular lightning

Things getting back to normal now

It was pretty nasty in the Hershey area. This is the 2nd time I got hit up that way with friends. The last time was when the tornadic activity hit Ephrata. I don't like being stuck on 283 in those conditions! Give me shelter! (IMG:http://talkback.lancasteronline.com/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I got home here in Quarryville about 30 minutes ago and some of the flower pots and watering cans on my back deck were thrown around but everything else looked ok. On the bright side it killed the humidity for a little bit.

I lost one tree, and the top out of another, so chalk up two. Major limbs down all over the place up here on the hill. Chainsaw will be busy when ever free time is available. The worst part is the fence damage, the chickens are beyond free range now, hope the neighbors don't mind.

My dad had a few trees down... when he called PPL because of a branch bringing down a power line... they told him there were just over 33,000 people without power.... crazy.
