Hi Jeff. I look forward to your impressions of the West. I sure miss it!
One small correction: Arizona is in the Mountain Standard Time zone. Most of Arizona, except for Indian Reservation lands, does not switch to Daylight Savings Time (there's more than enough daylight... no need to save any). In the summer, if you are not on reservation land, then yes, you will be three hours behind the east coast; but come the fall and everyone switches to standard time and non-native land in Az. goes back to MST. And two hours behind the east coast.

Hey Harv ... I'm in Flagstaff; not on Indian Reservation Land, so I am in the Pacific Time Zone - 3 hours behind (I asked about 10 people yesterday what time it was, and they all confirmed it!). My body clock is all whacked. I woke up this morning here at 5:45, and I haven't been up that early in a while. This is my 4th trip out this way, and Arizona/New Mexico are two of my favorite stops. Plenty to do here and plenty to see. It is a tad on the warm side - but I guess it beats all the rain you guys are getting back home! Heading to Vegas today - for three days.
