I just recently got into mountain biking and i was wondering if anyone knew of some good places to try out that arent too far from the city. I went to county park and they have some fun trails but they are not long enough, at least not extreme enough . any thoughts?

Look around. When was the last time you saw a mountain near Lancaster with slopes that could be considered long or extreme? Not exactly nearby, but you might want to try Blue Mountain.

Governor Dick has a lot of mountain biking. It's close to Mt Gretna.
