| Nazi war crimes By 2009-06-01 13:26:00 Lancaster New Era Editor, New Era: There has been an on-and-off story during the past 20 years or so concerning an old man by the name of John Demjanjuk. He was a factory worker living in Ohio when he became the subject of scrutiny, as a Nazi hunter claimed that Demjanjuk had been a guard at a concentration camp and was given the nickname of "Ivan the Terrible" due to his brutal treatment of Jewish prisoners within the camp. |

The USA and the west are the ones attacking Arab countries. The coalition of the willing are the ones engaged in the slaughter of innocent civilians and calling it collateral damage. It's out military that are the ones imprisoning people indefinetly without trial. It's our military that a secret police that are torturing people. It's our government that is tapping our phones and reading our email.

Denjanjuk was taken to Israel for trial when he was accused of being another guard. Found innocent and returned to the US. Now he is being tried as another guard. Witch hunts are more legitimate undertakings.
Recently the US has supplied phosphorus weapons to Israel which were used on civilians in contravention of Geneva conventions. Been using depleted uranium weapons the whole time we are pointing the finger at Korea and Iran.

All this informtion about 'Ivan' and yet he misses the fact that 'Ivan' has already been tried in Israel and released when exculpatory evidence came to light.
That seems like a rather vital part of the story to me.
Maybe Hoosier ought to think about that in between reflecting on death showin' them Muslims once and for all that we are all equal.

Addressing the National Prayer Breakfast, Obama spoke of how faith has often been a divisive tool, responsible for war and prejudice. But, he said, "there is no God who condones taking the life of an innocent human being," and all religions teach people to love and care for one another. Yet Obama condones the killing of of 4,000 innocent human beings every day in this country by acts of abortion. He promised to pass the so called Freedom of Choice Act which would essentially wipe out every pro-life law in the country. He thinks just as the Nazis did that those murdered are not human beings so therefore killing them is O.K.

We nuked an awful lot of schools ad hospitals in Hiroshima, too.
But those weren't dead women and children; they were just 'casualties'.

Japan made the decision to fight to the last man, woman, & child. They rejected terms repeatedly. Truman's choice was an amphibious invasion and massive casualties on both sides with fighting lasting who knows how long. Or, drop the bomb. Truman, as American President chose the option that spared the most U.S. citizens. His job. War is hell. Especially when you start the war. Hiroshima was horror. And amphibious assault would have been horror.

Another disciple of Jesus defending murder of women and children.
If only someone had told the school children of Hiroshima that all they needed to do was stop fighting!

Which makes them look out of round in comparison to the average citizen. When nothing could be further from the truth.
Anyone see the Law and Order propaganda last night? Who got bashed in the popular entertainment venue? But general attitudes are not influenced by TV....they are or the powers that be wouldn't bother.
Holomodor. Who was responsible? Why isn't that term as well known as the other holo word? Who controls what you know, and by extension, what you think?

Bingo.

The emporer of Japan should have given that some thought.

Spared Christian U.S. citizens. Killed a bunch of non-Christians; women, children, who were condemned to hell anyway as they had not accepted Jesus as their personal savior. Just sent them sooner to where they would have ended up anyway. Why would any Christian have a problem with that?

The emperor of Japan didn't nuke hundreds of thousands of civilians in Nagasake and Hiroshima.
We did. The death and human suffering depicted at the Memorial museum in Hiroshima made me weep. Only savages and brutes visit that kind of evil on their brothers and sisters.
But of course, the leaders of this Christian nation are old hands at genocide and murder. Just ask the scattered bands of Native Americans who escaped the Christian's 'Manifest Destiny'. Or how about that time when we participated in the fireboming of civilians in Dresden? The Allies killed more civilians in Dresden than in Nagasaki and Hiroshima combined! Jesus must love our side more than theirs, huh?
Only a Christian has a moral sense sufficiently blunted as to make excuses for Murder under the guise of Warfare. They're still doing it today, waving their pom-poms and chanting Occupy the Middle East! Occupy the Middle East! Support our troops! Jesus would support the hired killers, why won't you!?
What makes it so painfully ironic is that your god commands you to love your enemies. What goes on in your brain when you claim to hold entirely contradictory 'beliefs' at the same time?
Does it hurt?
