I have to get from the Manheim Pike area to the Willow Street area rather "quickly" this afternoon after the 5:00 whistle blows. I haven't been down the 222 South/Prince Street strip through town lately to know the latest, but I remember the last time I took that strip (mid February) traffic at 5:00 was at a crawl with all the construction. Has it since improved or am I better off making a loop out and around the city? Maybe down Dillerville to President...
Suggestions GREATLY appreciated!

End the Federal Reserve!! The whole purpose they were created was to stabilize prices and increase employment. ??? Can we start acting like adults about this already?? Abolish it!
How? Prepare for disengagement, then, refuse to participate.

Like the plague.
It's times like this that I think 222 should actually go around the city. Wait, I think that all the time. Think how much money the city tax payers can save because all the truck/commuter traffic is now outside of the city? Damn commuters.

Some people have a widow's peak, I have a widow's canyon.

Yes, by all means avoid South Prince Street anytime between 3:30pm and 5:45pm, ESPECIALLY on Fridays. But avoid the part from King Street until Fairview. It's ok to pick it up at Fairview - that's the city line, but it's generally been a nightmare since the very first construction started a long time ago.

Thank you both - that's what I assumed - just wanted someone to confirm! Happy Friday!
Or come in Lititz Pike, take Duke all the way down to Chesapeake, and pick up Prince there... equally as quick with less turns.
a real go-getter
