Pick one, perhaps explain why it's memorable.
Even though you and I were often on opposite sides of the court, you'll be sorely missed.

Without a doubt, this thread (Randy Pausch's final lecture) was my favorite. While Cyberscribbler posted quite a few thought-provoking items for discussion, this video really moved me. I believe he would have put something together like this for his own kids if he'd known his time with them was limited.

I was thinking the same thing, BR. I hope his children are hanging in there. It's a terrible thing to lose a parent so unexpectedly. Well, both parents actually. I wish them all the best. I'm so sorry for their loss. And we will miss Cyberscribbler.

I really liked the offbeat stuff he posted, anything else was a toss-up and I often disagreed with him. But he was a decent guy with a logical well-thought out reason for his beliefs, which I respect, even when I completely disagree.
There was the pope loses skull cap thread. (oddly, this was the last thread he started).
There was the skating boobies thread.
And while more along the lines of public service, the how to eliminate junkmail thread.
A great guy, something like that should never happen to anyone, let alone someone like him.

I don't feel I knew him well enough to comment too much about him but I do recall 'Cyber Scribbler.' I've taken a break from TB for a while so Im late finding out this info about him passing. (and what a sordid way to go). I wish his family peace & hope he does rest in peace.
