The special, advertised in the newspaper, includes two 5-ounce tenderloin-tips dinners, each served with two side dishes.
I enjoyed the tenderloin-tips at The Horse Inn last time I was there. We have never had a bad meal there.

I believe the first time I ever ate at the horse Inn [must have been 25 years ago], I had a cup of veggie soup and tips on toast points.
Imagine remembering what you had to eat that long ago!!!!

Did you see the tables they have down in the lower level (wine cellar), where they keep the wine? In my opinion, that room in the wine cellar is one of the most romantic places in Lancaster Country to eat dinner.

Have you ever had the tips on toast at McCleary's Irish Pub in Marietta? Had them a few weeks ago for the first time and really enjoyed them. I think they were only $9 or something like that. The wings were pretty darn good to.

Well, I figured that every meal can't possibly be a Josephine's meal. That meal was my first time at McCleary's. I really enjoyed the food and thought it was very reasonably priced. Alas, as much as I wish it were so, the tall slender cutie was not me.

McCleary's is great, and reasonably priced. Down the street Shank's is a little more bar-like than restaurant but the food is FANTASTIC (and cheap!). I have never had a single thing that I haven't loved there. Crab Cakes...awesome. "Big Fats" Burger...fantabulous. Killer Beef...supreme. I haven't been there on their Pho or Mexican nights, but based on everything else, it has to be great. And a great beer selection.

Now that I live only a few miles away from Marietta, I'm looking forward to checking out Shank's and spending some time exploring the town this summer.

Does anyone have a great brownie recipe?
I do, but I have to find it for you. Remind me over the weekend, Wonder, and I'll PM it to you. It uses a bit of instant coffee (I've used decaf) and some orange rind. It's totally killer.
