I think the name change is a good thing. Both of my children went to a program there that really had nothing to do with alcohol or drugs so it was difficult to explain to why the program was funded through the council.

Ok, I know I'm warped, but those names really jumped out at me in an article on the Council on Drug & Alcohol abuse.
I also think the name change is good. I know some involved with the agency, and they do more than the old name implied.
