Knowing what little I do about you, my instincts say the proper birthday wish for you should go like this:

Thank you very much. That's pretty much right on. It's a fairly routine day, but at least I don't work. I did get in a short run this morning and I just came back from lunch at the Loft with my mother. Not much h*ll raising today, but perhaps the little guy and I can come up with an evil plan to scare my wife later. It's one of our favorite things to do together.
