I am glad to see that there is concern and at least an effort to address the economy. Unfortunately, the government/President does not 'create' jobs, businesses do. At best, the government needs to foster an environment that encourages business growth and job growth... tax cuts and incentives to business.
Wait, that's tickle down economics. Forget it. Just send money to the citizenship so that they can spend it at WalMart..

Exactly. And raising taxes is not the way to do it in any economy, much less this one. Hopefully, Obama knows this and understands that the only president who raised taxes in a recession quickly turned it into a depression.
