That's pretty much what my mom's lungs looked like at the time of her death @ 53 yo.

Way too young to die PML, and yes we would miss you on here. Okay I'll speak for myself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I do know, too, that many die of other diseases doesn't mean I have to enlist and make it easy for them to get me!!

...and I'm not all that opposed to smoking. Just smoking like there's no tomorrow and loving it more than life itself, is what I'm opposed to.

Andy, how did you get a picture of my lungs? I am not being funny, I have emphysema. I told PML I would show her my lung x-rays but she never responded. If any smoker on this board thinks it fun have COPD, guess again. Inhalers everyday, getting out of breath walking up a flight of stairs, having to stop working in the yard to catch my breath, that is not fun to me. I am not asking for pity, I brought it on myself with all the smoking I did. I am trying to get you smokers to stop so you don't get the same thing I have.

I appreciate you posting this. Lung disease is no laughing matter, but sometimes when assaulted with the indignant remarks of PML, it is hard not to take a poke at her. I hope she realizes sooner than later what she is doing by being stubborn. I have watched close relatives and friends die a slow and painful death at the hands of a "habit" they weren't born with.

Thank you for being open minded enough to talk about your experience. Just maybe, the PMLs reading this, will be touched by your words.

I have a modeling contract for the fall so obviously smoking has not effected my looks like the crap they put out to scare children from smoking. Kind of like if you masturbated you went blind.

PML, I truly hope you understand that I do not think you're useless. I honestly wish you would quit smoking for your own health. While I may take issue with some of your arguments, it doesn't mean I dislike you as a person or feel your life has no worth.

PML, I know I give you a lot of sh!t but I don't want to see you get what I have. I have learned to live with it but it is no fun. Try Smoke Away, it worked for me. It will be five years in Nov. since I quit.

PML, meet Denver Rose. Two peas in a pod. No one on this forum believes you have any kind of a modeling contract. Its a silly thing to say and it made you look really delirious. With that said, anyone who says you should just die because you have nothing to contribute is more delirious than you. They should never say that because its not true. Just because people, me included, have huge problems with your negativity and hate spewing, it doesn't mean you have no worth. I hope you don't die of some horrible smoking disease, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Smoke if you want, its your right, but know that there are people on TB that fight with you every day but still want you to live long and healthy.
