I am single. However, I would never respond to a newspaper ad.
Lancaster really doesn't have decent venues for singles. Marion Court Room and occasionally Symposium are okay but other than those establishments there really isn't anything decent for singles in this area.

Mikerob...is that your ad???!!???
Sometimes you have a few extra minutes, coffee still to drink and the weekend section. Sort of like looking at the menu and not ordering. Or reading some of these and hope your kids don't respond. Or worse...hoping it's not your husband putting the ad in the paper!

Any wife who is suspicious shouldn't have any trouble setting him up if she's even a little bit clever. What did the ad say beyond his marital status and wanting a discreet woman? Did he expound on his attributes?

liar, cheater, vows have no meaning and no moral character.
Not too bright either.
hmmm...attractive
He's most likely a moment away from being busted. Can you imagine a spurned private detective taking this one on pro bono?

And those are his good points.
I don't even think it would take a PI to bust this guys chops - just a female friend to act as the bait. Hmmmmm, is there a second career rattling around in my brain? That could be fun.

While perusing the personal ads in the meeting place in the weekend section...did anyone else notice the ad for the married man looking for a discreet woman?
Hmmmm.....
Why the big fuss about this guy? He's putting out there what he wants. That's his business. If anyone responds, that's her business. From what I've heard, this sort of "hook-up" happens more often than you might think, whether others judge it negatively or not. The only difference is he ran an ad. I bet he'll get some responses. I'm not saying any of this makes it right, just that it's a fact of life.

then put an ad in the cheaters section....not the singles. Or maybe add a "looking for boinking buddy" section.
And it's obvious the guy's unattractive and stupid. He if was "hot" he'd have women hitting on him at work or anywhere. If he was smart, he'd realize to be discreet means NOT advertising in the paper.
