However, as I kept reading, I was once again overwhelmed by the paranoia our government has managed to put in all our little closed minds. |

Just when can I expect that to happen? It never hurts to be prepared.

Being witty and making me laugh out loud on a regular makes you immune to wrinkles, so you are good.

Thanks. I'll cancel my appointment with Dr. Funk.

I think they're all going to the Post under the name of anonymous.

Years ago, I worked for the paper and at that time there was a man who wrote letters all the time and the guys in that dept. would pass around his letters every time they came in and it was a big joke. Most of his didn't make it to press, but ones that did were still the most anyone had written. Every time I read one of her LTE, I have a chuckle thinking of my old friends at that paper laughing at her expense. "Hey guys, come look, another letter from Paula Luciano! I wonder if she wrote today to tell us about something she likes, or something that makes her happy"
Thanks. I'll cancel my appointment with Dr. Funk.
Dr. Funk? Girl, go global, its all about Dr. Daniel Serrano now!

And I thought only their contributors were permitted to do that.

Even though I'm a smoker myself, I have to agree with Dee. I do not believe that as a smoker I should have the "right" to impose my awful habit onto someone else. I do not mind that most of the area restaurants have become non-smoking, I can wait until I'm outside to "light up." If I'm in a public place and want to smoke, I make sure that I stand away from others so that they do not get my second hand smoke unwittingly.
Yes I know that smoking is a terrible filthy habit and it is just as well with me that the exorbitant prices I "choose" to pay for cigarettes go to help children who need it. It is my choice to smoke, and I don't believe that gives me the right to endanger a non-smoker's health.
