My privacy is gone.
Now I am looking up all the houses of all my friends and relatives.........
Does that make both of you stalkers or peeping toms???

That was close, since my name is not Tom I'm safe.....
Seriously though, I often check the Goggles image and MSN. I like to see when a satellite shoots a new Pic. Can usually tell by what or where the car or truck are in the driveway.

I can't believe it---I just went to Google Maps and used Street View, and by Golly, there is my house and everything around it !
My privacy is gone.
Now I am looking up all the houses of all my friends and relatives.........
I've used this feature before driving the bus to an unfamiliar locale. Sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. Getting an overview of how a school is laid out when taking a sport team to games comes in handy especially if there is night driving.
I did run into some trouble trying to get a good zoom on the PA Capitol buildings. The view gets very vague, those trying to help me decided it probably was for Nat'l security being PA's Capitol and all.
What part of the world do you live in that is covered by Google Street View?
I can't find ANY links in or around Lancaster.
Some mappings you need to click on hybrid or satellite. I think that is mapquest.

Wow, you can see the dead spots in the grass from my dog. That's a little scarey. Its a very good picture. Good thing they didn't take the picture when I was laying out on the deck.

zillow uses Microsoft’s virtual earth images. You can access them directly and get a bigger photo at www.maps.live.com then click on bird’s eye view.
Google has only been using street view in major cities. I've heard about people being able to recognize themselves in some of the photos they are so detailed.

They've done street views in many of the larger cities.
You can choose a starting point and then 'drive' down the street and look from side to side as well. I had some fun with the Phoenix one. Drove by my old house.
