Anybody who knows the shops of Downtown, please enlighten me of your personal knowledge of these establishments - hidden gems, good deals, places that sell items for all ages, etc.
Any help/insight will be greatly appreciated!

There is so much to see and do in Downtown Lancaster:
http://www.downtownlancaster.com/
Friday - November 30 from 5:00 to 9:00pm the stores will be open and music will be at some locations.
First Friday in December (the 7th) is the traditional Mayor's Tree Lighting at 6:30pm followed by Tuba Christmas allof which take place in Penn Square. Wrap the missus up and take her on a horse drawn carriage ride around the downtown. Take the little ones to see the toy train display on the second floor of Citizen's Bank. Hit all the downtown shops and admire the decorations. Central Market is also open that night. Hager Arcade Mall is next to Central Market and will be open that night.
Get warmed up with hot apple cider or coffee/cappucino/latte or hot chocolate inside Prince Street Cafe. See the decorations at Steinman Park.
Check out shops on first block of North Queen and West King then walk a few blocks north to the 300 block of North Queen for more unique shops.
Have some fun!!!

if you want to give inexpensive gifts you can buy some exotic soaps there that are a bit pricey compared to dial but it is something a lot of folks wouldn't buy for themselves.

On 8/7/2007 you presented for payment check number 2805 drawn upon your Bank of Lancaster County checking account. On 11/1/2007 we attempted to cash this check, and it was returned unpaid citing that the account had been closed.

Perhaps you thought you were simply stretching the collection law's allowance for "going nearby" to contact a debtor, but unfortunately by even mentioning a debt being involved you are now liable for possibly being forbidden from doing business in Pennsylvania again in the future, and, more importantly, LOSING ALL YOUR ASSETS TO THE PERSON YOU TRIED TO HARASS.
Yes, Pennsylvania defines your little note as "debt collector harassment", among other things.
I am personally forwarding a copy of your post to the State Attorney General.
Have a nice day
P.S. - MODS - PLEASE do not send this thread to the abyss! The state will want to see it publicly posted where all can see it. Thanks!

They can also be prosecuted, fined, and sued into the ground by victims.
Any citizen can report an observed abuse of a debtor's rights and dignity to the State Attorney General.
Please visit www.attorneygeneral.gov/complaints.aspx?id=451 and either fill out the online form or call and tell them what you read posted against mcullen on here.

But one of Yahoo!'s little niceties is that you can't contact them about anything unless you have a Yahoo! account
Anyone here who is a Yahoo! member PLEASE contact them, send a link to the illegal post against mcullen and also copy the text of the post in your email.
I worked as a bill collector for 3 years and NEVER saw anything this completely outrageous. Publicly embarrassing a person because of their financial situation is bad enough. For a company that claims to be providing solutions for speech impairment to do such a thing tells me they have precious little "compassion" for people with problems of any kind.
Everyone, this is another opportunity for us to band together in a common cause - take down a scumbag!

I have lived at the same address printed on my check for 26 years and my telephone number is listed in the phone book.
I bought this book at Schreiber Pediatric where my son goes for therapy almost every week. They also have my telephone number and address.
I am easy to find and contact.
Please be assured I will be in touch with you ,Speech Place Publishing ,immediately to address this matter.
Thank you to all my friends on Talkback. I appreciate your help!!!!
