House Committee to Vote on Resolution of Inquiry on 9/14
The Resolution of Inquiry into Bush's war lies now has 65 co-sponsors. It will come to a vote in the House International Relations Commitee next Wednesday, September 14th, where it has the co-sponsorship of most of the Democrats and one Republican. To pass, it needs all the Democrats and three Republicans. The more Congress Members not on the committee who co-sponsor, the more likely wavering committee members are to vote yes. A substantial debate on the issue is expected. The committee meets in Room 2172, Rayburn House Office Building, at 10:30 a.m. next Wednesday.

One can only hope there is meat. Some people just need a little shove sometimes to seek accountability of our political leaders.

If they aren't seeking accountability in our Federal employees at the same time this will be another partisan waste of tax dollars.

Seeking the truth is never a waste of time or money. What is a waste is knowing that things are wrong and doing nothing about holding them accountable for the wrongs.

It is a waste of time and money if you aren't holding all parties accountable, then it is just a "witch hunt."

So what are you saying if we didnt hold others accountable we shouldnt hold the current one accountable ?
You are making the argument politicians love and this administration and their excuse makers use the same argument. And guess what nothing gets done with the current administration and they go their merry way.
All it takes is to do it fully on one then the other will be more aware that the people arent going to take it anymore. Things will change .
Its clear the approach you suggest isnt going to happen , so dont you think we need to try something else ? Or should we just go on hopeing for the best and do nothing at all ?
Write your congress person and ask them to hold the administration accountable for the truth. What do you have to lose ?

And what is it you are doing? Giving a pass because the truth is something you arent interested in.
Looks like you dont require truth from your leaders. What are you afraid of ?
And thats the excuse you are offering the hate whine ? Now where do i hear that excuse daily , oh yea the current administration.
Dead Americans wont know so why ask right?

Ignoreing the problem is only clearing the way for more problems. I knew some of you wouldnt want the truth but that doesnt mean the rest of us are afraid to seek the answers the country deserves. All ive seen so far is excuses . What are you people afraid of? Does truth scare you guys that you would rather move on and forget about it ?

I understand everyone starling, but it must start somewhere correct? And what better place than at the head of the political snake the CIC. If you would rather run away from the problems be my guest it proves my point .

Start where the problem has existed the longest and caused the greatest amount of trouble - our government agencies and career bureaucrats. That has been a constant source of failure for decades.
