Few are lower in the scum pond and none are more cowardly than you!
Just because you got thrown out of boot camp for shrieking like a 6 year old girl spotting a spider, doesn't make the rest cowards.
So glad you have the ability to express your self here, otherwise I fear another serial episode could occur.

Have you ever fought in a war? Have you had a son or daughter go off to war? Are you old enough to get the depth of what you are saying? I hope you and your family never fight in a war on the Americans side. We don't need you or those you raise shooting our soldiers down. You don't have a problem enjoying the freedoms our American soldiers are fighting and dying for you to have. Were you born in America or did you move here against your will? Either way, there are planes leaving everyday if you'd like to hop a one way flight to overseas and never look back. That one way flight may be free if you need donations. Move out of America and stop being a coward hiding behind the US Soldiers safety and freedom they provide.

the most important thing is that we win so we can thump our chests and chant "we're number 1".
ohhh and as a bonus we get to pretend we are there out of altruism.
we loves them people, that's why we kill them.LOL

Awakening is an American? As in born in the US? I wouldn't want this one fighting next to any of my relatives. Lock this one up with the American muslim officer that recently killed several of our soldiers and wounded more.

you're absolutely right, better idea would be to sit and ponder what to do. Thats my son (and many others sons, daughters, mothers, fathers) over there and those that have not been as fortunate to still be alive. DON'T ABANDON THEM!! They are doing this for all of us; don't mock their selfless efforts. They are giving the ultimate sacrifice, of which many spoiled people do not seem to comprehend.

Thank your son for his service! Some don't get it and never will. Learning to ignore that is hard to do.
They value their freedom which your son provides but show it poorly sometimes due to their political agenda.

i am not mocking him or any other soldier in the least. i don't want any more to die for yet another war whose goal is illdefined.
we went in there because the taliban gave refuge to those that attacked us on 9/11. our goal was to drive the taliban out and capture al qaiada leaders. al qaiada slipped thru our finger 8 years ago. the american people let bush jr invade iraq out of fear whetehr fear of bush jr, fear of the scorn of their fellow americans who questioned their patriotism , or fear of al qaida.
the taliban had 6 or 7 years to regroup and now we are supposed to do what exactly to win?
what is the goal?
how do we define winning. are we prepared to sacrifice more americans for a war we cannot define what victory is?

Thank you for your words of kindness; I know its very much appreciated by those serving, and those that have served, to have their country behind them.
Its quite frustrating to hear the politcal jargon dragged into this situation, and angers even more when the decision of "what to do" is not taken seriously. Its really a no brainer.

I don't disagree with your opinion, however wrong history or present day events may have been. Have you not heard the common belief among those serving stating that if you don't believe in the cause, you are not behind them. They are doing what they are commanded. So, back to the original thought, think its okay to leave them there without any help? Or perhaps you feel they should come home - ??

i call bullhooey. explain how anyone in afghanastan is providing me with freedom?
it's jingoistic fools like you who allowed bush jr to invade iraq.
so how is he providing me with freedom, or is that just some platitude that some kid should die for?

Can you make a point without dragging in the polical side? Lets talk about the answer to the situation, not bash on what cannot be changed.
If you choose to pursue the politcal angle, lets call Obama on his original promise to bring them home. He cannot even come up with a plan - and yet we continue to lose more lives.

what is the goal for them? why are they there. if we have a goal, a way to define winning let's hear it. if we can't define the goal then we should leave.
why should we have troops staioned over there for no plausible reason? why should we risk their lives? why should we spend our money?
do we have to kill everyone to say we won? how about half of them? how many do we have to kill to win. that's what it boils down to, making them say uncle.
so we can be proud.
