I was traveling home on Rt. 340 (going west just outside of Intercourse) Sunday afternoon and had to do a double take as to what I had seen coming toward me. I turned around, then turned again and had my passenger capture these pictures.
It was one of those scooters for people who have trouble walking, however, I didn't realize that you could use it as a passenger vehicle! LOL!! Yes, I know we should not have taken pictures of the Amish, but if they are going to do this, I'm taking pictures! Only in Lancaster, PA!! Priceless. I saw an Amish man in Lancaster in a motorized wheel chair. He was missing a leg. Surprised when I saw it. Guy was really booking it on the sidewalk. Remember thinking hope a little old lady doesn't step out in front of him.
