At any rate the event reminded those middle of the road Dems that they better be careful how they vote.... "The government of the November criminals and the Reich President are declared to be removed. A new national government will be named this very day in Munich. A new German National Army will be formed immediately. ...The task of the provisional German National Government is to organize the march on that sinful Babel, Berlin, and save the German people! Tomorrow will find either a National Government in Germany or us dead!" - Adolf Hitler during The Beer Hall Putsch |

Fox News did not even have footage of the send-off rally in San Diego for tea party II. That was telling in my book.
QUOTE Oh right, it's all an astro turf movement. Well, Americans for Prosperity did cough up the buses for today. QUOTE Dozens of buses, organized by the conservative group Americans for Prosperity carried grassroots activists and concerned citizens from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and North Carolina. Organizers said activists became energized after Republican victories in Virginia and New Jersey Tuesday. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/tea-party-p...4635&page=1 At least you don't have to mow it. |

real conservatives are appalled that the nutbag wing of the gop has hyjacked their party. the dems want the gop to be identified with nuts like beck and palin. america in general is scared shirtless of these demagogues.
newt is right. the nut in upstate new york who palin endorsed, lost to the democrat. that's because real conservatives are scared of these people. the real damage is that the true conservative will have his voice drowned out by the nuts. that suits the dems just fine. but it doesn't suit me. we need dialogue, not diarhea. |

Just saw that biased NBC news do a big piece on this without criticizing the baggers. How dare they not show their true colors, lol.

Gil, just wait till Atlas Shrugs. Because Atlas WILL Shrug. Is todays' system really worth defending? There are no Hank Reardens or Dagney Taggarts in todays corporatocracy...They are usurpers, running the corporations like James Taggart and Orren Boyle...the system you are defending is already the rotted oak tree.. "The great oak tree had stood on a hill over the Hudson, in a lonely spot on the Taggart estate. Eddie Willers, age seven, liked to come and look at that tree. It had stood there for hundreds of years, and he thought it would always stand there.... He felt safe in the oak tree's presence; it was a thing that nothing could change or threaten; it was his greatest symbol of strength. One night, lightning struck the oak tree. Eddie saw it the next morning. It lay broken in half, and he looked into its trunk as into the mouth of a black tunnel. The trunk was only an empty shell; it's heart had rotted away long ago...." WHo is John Galt??? Name me just ONE person who currently fits the "Atlas" category in the insurance or banking industry??? who if they shrugged we would notice? Who is today's John Galt? (maybe Atlas already shrugged and he's on welfare...and you hate him for it ) This post has been edited by newsjunkie: Nov 6 2009, 11:35 AM |

If John Galt were on welfare I would not hate him, I would be saddened. And be without hope. |
