that's why it is even more important that the accused get due process, so that the innocent are protected from the morons who sat on this jury and blabbed about the case, and also so that the guilty don't beat the rap because of a technicality, like some morons on the jury disregarding a judges order not to blab about the case.

Awesome, time for more morons on parade that are unable to read!

Talking about how much you don't like jury duty is not the same as talking about the case.

I say the juror should be penalized. Because of him we are now wasting more tax payer money on this case. Regardless whether or not Roseboro committed the murder, its not about him, its about the incompetence of the jurors and their inability to follow instructions.

When you're the one being charged with a crime, how fair are you going to find the verdict when the jurors are out gathering hearsay from their friends.

Ok people, I know this is a hard concept to follow. Is Roseboro Guilty? Probably yes. But the issue here is the jurors did VIOLATE the COMMUNICATION order. In fact from what I see in the articles, there is enough evidence that criminal charges should be filed against the jurors. Back in the day we use to sequester jurors. I think we need to revisit that concept and make sure that communication does not occur. Communication about a case is as simple as talking about it, writing about it, typing about it. Plain and simple. It is time for Lancaster Courts to realize that a serious problem has happened and to do the right thing. Issue a new trial without a tainted jury. Which means probably having to move the trial to another part of the state. Rather than everyone being pissed at Roseboro you should all be pissed at these jurors for creating a very expensive retrial that will happen at some point in 2010. I can't wait for the movie to happen on this one!!!

(IMG:http://talkback.lancasteronline.com/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) WOW!...This was originally requested by the defendant BEFORE the jury selection even occurred. There was NO way that Mike was going to get an unbiased trial, no matter if he did or did not kill Jan.

I still "think" that Sam knows what happened. I believe that Mike and Jan had a physical altercation that evening; however I do not think Mike killed her and put her in the swimming pool. It was mentioned in a previous article, during the trial, that there was record and individuals who can verify that there was a previous physical altercation between Mike and Jan. IF this was Mike "smacking" Jan around, don't you think Stedman would have been ALL over that...implying Mike is a repeated wife beater....BUT Stedman never breathed a word of this occurrence. There is WAY more to this story than the general public knows. Money does buy something’s! (IMG:http://talkback.lancasteronline.com/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Let the verdict stand. Roseboro's lawyer is trying to generate more "fee income" like every typical lawyer. The two jurors in question were told not to say anything, yet they did. Why hasnt the DA gone after them? Put their butts in jail as well and that would send the right signal instead of having the taxpayers foot the bill for another trial.

We live within a society of Law,regulation and a unified Constitution. The defendants rights in fact have been prejudiced. The jury has agreed to answer questions under 18 PA.C.S. 4904, prior to being selected as a potential juror. The laws are complex and link from one Act of Amendment to another. The fellow elected Craig Stedman and prosecutors intend they know the law,"no body is above the law."The Roseboro vs. Commwealth is clearly a flawed, tainted verdict by all means and violates the "Due Process" rights. This case was on trail for only 3 weeks, with mountainous amounts of evidence. Clearly where did, Einstein of this trial take part or exist?

I still contend that jurors of that age lack the maturity and the life experience necessary. Many will disagree.

Some, not all, just like there are older people who, despite age, can be just as dumb and stupid as anyone.
