At least a subway wouldn't block traffic like a streetcar.

End the Federal Reserve!! The whole purpose they were created was to stabilize prices and increase employment. ??? Can we start acting like adults about this already?? Abolish it!
How? Prepare for disengagement, then, refuse to participate.
I'm not anti-government, I'm anti-crime.

I feel obligated to add a positive note to this thread.
Can't wait for this to open. This is gonna be awesome to have it this close and looks like the building is going to keep with the character of downtown.
Best of luck to the developers in getting this open.
For me at least, downtown just keeps getting better and better.
and....just so ya know....Don't rain on my parade!

The city is becoming a mecca for good restaurants. I eat at many of the upscale spots fpr special occassions - Belvedere, Rosa Rosa, Fenz, CV Center, Pressroom, etc. - but the casual places are also great. Green Man, Fractured Prune, Rachel's, Chestnut Hill to name a very, very select few... all great.

Service and cleanliness, imo.
Having lived, worked and traveled all over this country, I could not agree more. We are a lot closer to that than many may think or believe.

I thinkthat's what makes Lancaster city great is because of the lack of starbucks' and the like. The McDonalds is currently the one mega-corp that we have (as far as I know).
I don't know that Subway clientele is the necessarily the same as special boutique and antique store clientele?
Oh, and by the way, Green Man, is not very green... they have recyclable containers and that's about it. I've heard overwhelming negative comments about the place - from folks who are very concerned with having local/organic/healthy/green food and other products. Not getting any of my money!
