I am looking for 3/4" conduit piping... is there a metal salvage yard anywhere around Lancaster city? Or do I have to buy some new?

Lancaster Salvage over near Plum St. Not sure if they are in the phone book, but they should be listed. Also, Full Cycle Recycling Center, at the corner of S Prince and Seymour

Lancaster Salvage and Full Circle don't generally keep "stock" around - they chop it up as fast as it comes in. Sahd's in Columbia, on the other hand, does keep "usefull" scrap lying around.

how much do you need?
I'd try Rueben steel on Fruitville pike, it may not be 3/4 conduit, but I'm sure he's got something close, and might even have some in the scrap yard.

A bit off topic...but how would one dispose of a nonworking fridge? Take it to the scrap yard?
Full Cycle Recycling Center, at the corner of S Prince and Seymour that Scout mentioned - I was just there today and saw several pickup trucks waiting to unload old refrigerators. Have no idea what they charge.

They take them at Lancaster Salvage too. I believe free of charge.
